On the occasion of Erich Maria Remarque's 125th birthday on June 22nd 2023, the research on Remarque examined networks in which Remarque was involved, networks established due to his work and which still have an impact today. Several of these networks have just been founded due to recent events. Thus, protests in Moscow and Kiev against Russia's war against the Ukraine in 2022 were supported with excerpts or complete editions of the novel "All Quiet on the Western Front".
